Can’t say no to adulthood now
I love birthdays (especially mine), cakes, buying presents, organizing them, but I’m not really fond of big, fancy parties, at least not on my watch. On the 28th I turned 19 and I held a barbecue in my garden, nothing big or fancy, just a couple of my dearest friends. I think it’s better to have the ones you feel closest to around on special moments as opposed to crowds full of acquaintances, it feels so much more intimate and warm, making the moments really matter. It was the first time in my life when I actually had to grill stuff and make the fire myself with the help of my man and let’s just say I’m not up for hosting another barbecue soon.
The highlight of the day was receiving a bunny from my dearest P and E, who’s white and fluffy and will grow up to seven kilos ;~; <3 I’m a little bit worried about it since I’ve never been a great pet owner as a kid (I used to get bored of the animals after a few months and my parents or grandma ended up taking care of them) but hey, I’m nineteen now, I think I can handle a bunny, right?
