I’ve always been a city girl. I’ve lived with my family in a house with quite the garden and I like spending time outdoors at times, but most of the time I like the city, the concrete, the crazy agitation and the strange power cities have. My grandparents grew up in the country side and both my parents spent their summers as children at their places, but sadly my grand-grandmother died when I was little and my other grand-grandparents moved in the city, so I never had the pleasure to experience living in the nature.
A few days ago we visited E’s grandparents and I finally had the veritable experience, from orchards, to chicken running around, to the infamous toilet in the nature. Some parts are really nice, like getting to pick up the things you eat and having a break from the internet, laptops, mobile phones and everything else that holds the modern human being chained. Other, on the other hand aren’t my cup of tea (let’s just say peeing with hens running around you isn’t fun).
All in all I think it’s a nice and relaxing break, but after two days, please take me back to my city.
Dress: SUGARHILL BOUTIQUE
Necklace (worn as headpiece): DIANA FLORE
My other necklace was a birthday present and I think the rings are all from Stradivarius, but I’m not 100% sure.
